ConsultLine personnel are available to parents and advocates of children with disabilities or children thought to be disabled to explain federal and state laws relating to special education; describe the options that are available to parents; inform the parents of procedural safeguards; identify other agencies and support services; and describe available remedies and how the parents can proceed.

Special Education is provided to those students who are determined to be eligible and in need of special education services through an Evaluation. An Individual Education Plan for eligible students will be developed with parents and school staff. There is a special education teacher in each building who will implement or assist in the implementation of the Individual Education Plans in the least restrictive environment where the student can be successful.
