2014 Regional Computer Fair

Students from Line Mountain High School competed in the Regional Computer Fair on Monday, March 24th at the CSIU#16 in Montandon PA.  The students were introduced to advanced technology using an Ipad/Segway propelled robot and many of the students drove it around the room with a separate iPad as the controlling unit.   Also presented was the latest software version of Apple’s GarageBand, an interactive Music program, where the students played in a duet with a drum trap set on the iPad alongside an electric guitar.  Four LM graphic arts computer projects were entered into the competition with the following students, their categories, and the final results:

Congratulations to Chastin Lytle and Shjon Kern for placing First in the Regional Computer Fair in Logo Design.  The pair will now move on to the State competition at Dickinson College, Carlisle PA, on May 20th.
