The community members are to determine whether or not they support the position of the District or the position of the Association.
The parties have agreed to enter into arbitration asking the arbitration panel to determine which party’s package of issues are supported by the evidence supplied.
Community members and the public are encouraged to write letters to the arbitrator outlining which package of issues they support. Residents of the Line Mountain Area School District and the public may provide comment by doing the following
1. Review issue provided by each party.
2. Write a letter to the arbitrator indicating which package of issues the resident/taxpayer supports. Sign and provide your name and address on the document. (Names and addresses will be kept confidential as the neutral arbitrator is the only individual who will be seeing this statement.)
3. Deliver to the District Administration Office in a SEALED envelope with the arbitrator’s name on the front of the envelope the community member’s comment on the parties issues. All comments should be submitted to the District Office no later than Tuesday, January 26th.
4. All correspondence should be addressed to: Timothy Tietze, Arbitrator. On the day of the arbitration, all sealed envelopes will be provided to the arbitrator for consideration.
